Does your kitchen need a facelift? Tired of your old cabinets? Is that finish dated and wearing off in spots? If you like the way your kitchen is set up but want a beautiful new look, you don’t have to tear out your whole kitchen and replace it with new cabinets. Cabinet refacing may be the solutions for you. It’s a less expensive option that still offers the same result: a new kitchen. Most refacing jobs take only 2 to 4 days, so disruption is minimal and you can still use your kitchen even while we are doing the work!
What is cabinet refacing
A cabinet reface includes new cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and bonding wood veneer to the cabinet surfaces. New hinges and handles are then installed to complete the cabinet refacing project, leaving your cabinets with a facelift at half the cost of purchasing new cabinets.
Our refacing includes covering the complete exterior with ¼” thick REAL WOOD, this is much different than the thin laminate you find on cheap furniture. With our veneer you get all the durability, character and color as if it were a solid piece.
Can All Cabinets be Refaced?
For the most part yes, if your kitchen is well-built and functional there should be no problem even if they are metal. If you need more storage space additional matching cabinetry can be added to the reface.
Can changes be made to my kitchen design?
Yes. Pro Wood Interiors can add in cabinets, pantries, desk, islands, relocate cabinets, and even move walls. Additionally, we can extend cabinets height, put in recessed lights, and add a custom range/exhaust hoods. We can give you the dream kitchen you have always wanted without braking the bank!
How Long Does It Take?
A full kitchen remodel could last as long as three weeks, but we can typically reface a kitchen in just 3-5 days!
What Does Cabinet Refacing Cost?
With refacing you can save up to half the cost of new custom cabinets. Price does vary depending on the doors and colors you choose Cabinet refacing is the best money saving option for your kitchen remodeling project. By saving your existing cabinetry, you can save enough to buy that granite countertop, add accessories, decorative moldings…build in those bells and whistles you might otherwise have forgone due to budget concerns.
